Oak & Chestnut Shakes
John Brash & Co Ltd has extended its range of shingles and shakes and can
now supply these premium quality products in Oak and Chestnut under the JB BLUE Range.
Oak has an incomparable colour and texture and lends itself well to buildings
of note, and the conservation of historic buildings such as church spires or bell
towers.
The products are made from the tree's heartwood with the sapwood removed. They
are durable and have an extremely long lifespan.
Similarly, the rich colour of chestnut results in a natural roofing material
that is extremely appealing and aesthetically very pleasing. As with oak, chestnut
shingles and shakes are versatile and durable.
